Removing Left Catalytic Converter

CAUTION: Hot components
  • Risk of burns

→ Let hot components cool down.

→ Wear personal protective gear.

CAUTION: Hot fluid 
  • Danger of scalding

→ Let the fluid cool down.

→ Wear personal protective gear.

  1. Unscrew the nuts that can be reached from below -1, 2, 3-  on the connection between the front exhaust pipe and the exhaust manifold.

  2. Loosen left clamping sleeve. Push the clamp backwards onto the exhaust system. The clamping sleeve -arrow-  must not be re-used.

  3. Unscrew the fastening screw -1-  on the holder.

  4. Remove catalytic converter from below.
