Removing Secondary-Air Pump With Bracket

  1. Remove the two M6 aluminum screws from the bracket. -4- 
    1. Bracket
    2. Secondary-air pump
    3. Aluminum screw, M6
    4. Screw element

  2. The four aluminum screws on the bracket must be removed when removing the secondary-air pump. -3- 
  3. Loosen spring band clamp on the secondary-air pump and pull off the line.
  4. Remove the design cover on secondary-air pumps with a separate cable plug. For details, see → REMOVING ENGINE COVER (DESIGN COVER) .If you only want to move the secondary-air pump aside, the design cover can remain fitted.
  5. Pull off cable plug on secondary-air pump if necessary -1-  . Remove the secondary-air pump -2-  .
