Dent Massage (For Larger Dents)
With this method, the lines of force are removed not by pressing at numerous points but instead by short movements.
For this process, first use wax chalk to draw a boundary circle -B- in the center of the dent. This circle is to prevent the tool from being pulled too far into the center. This could cause the dent to break up into numerous tiny dents and make any further work more difficult.
Use the large ball tool with the large round plastic attachment. Place the tool at the edge of the dent -A- first at 12 o'clock and using gentle pressure approach the boundary circle with gradually increasing pressure. Continue working from 11 o'clock to 1 o'clock, from 10 o'clock to 2 o'clock, etc. from the outer edge of the dent right up to the boundary circle. The pressure must not be too great as this could cause ridges. Once the dent has been shrunk back to the boundary circle, continue using the point-by-point clock method -C- .
The various dent repair methods can only be learned through intensive training and continuous practice.
