General Information: Prerequisites
- The dent must not have any cracks in the paintwork. Examine area of damage with illuminated magnifier or reflected-light microscope.
- Measure thickness of paint layer around area of damage. Paint layers up to around 450 μm thick are straightforward. With thicker layers of paint there is a danger that the paint will crack.
- High level of workmanship and skill
- Intensive training
- Continuous practice
- Use of recommended tools
