Adjusting Wiper Arm Attack Angle

Information 

Wiper system must be in the parking position. Before starting work, allow the wiper system to run 2 - 3 times with water spray.

→ Switch off electric power to drive motor.

→ Make sure it does not switch on again.

→ Check that there is no electric charge.

Information 

When fitting the wiper system, first pre-fix the wiper arms using nuts, then set the required positions of the wiper levers using the gauges and then secure the wipers at this position.

When tightening the nuts, always hold the wiper levers securely at the required position and use these to counter the tightening torque.

1. The gap -x1-  between the wiper on the driver's side -2-  and the cowl panel cover -3-  must be 17 mm +- 5 mm.

2. The gap -x2-  between the wiper on the passenger's side -1-  and the cowl panel cover -3-  must be 37 mm +- 5 mm.
