Subsequent Work

Hybrid vehicles only 

→ Before working on the high-voltage electrical system and carrying out any repair work to the body, a high-voltage technician must switch off the power to the system.

→ All work on vehicles with a high-voltage electrical system may only be carried out by electrically instructed persons. The work must be done under the instruction of a high-voltage technician.

→ Observe general warning notes for working on the high-voltage electrical system. → 2X00IN GENERAL WARNING NOTES FOR WORKING ON THE HIGH-VOLTAGE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

1. Read warning notes for working on the high-voltage system. → 2X00IN GENERAL WARNING NOTES FOR WORKING ON THE HIGH-VOLTAGE VEHICLE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
2. Install holder for high-voltage charger -1-  .
   1. 2.1. Tighten fastening screws -4-  . Tightening torque 9.7 Nm (7.5 ftlb.) 
   2. 2.2. Clip in wiring duct -5-  and holders -6-  for the electric lines at the holder for the high-voltage charger.
   3. 2.3. Tighten fastening screws -3-  . Tightening torque 9.7 Nm (7.5 ftlb.) 
   4. 2.4. Tighten fastening screws -2-  . Tightening torque 9.7 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)

3. Start the high-voltage system and complete the relevant start-up documentation.
4. Install insert for tool kit.

   All vehicles 

5. Secure the side trim panel for the luggage compartment at the right. → INSTALLING SIDE TRIM PANEL FOR REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT
6. If the reversing camera control unit was replaced, it must be re-calibrated and coded → 914355 REPLACING REVERSING CAMERA .
