Removing Low-Range Loudspeaker From Door Sub-Frame

NOTE: Voltage peaks
  • Risk of damage to load or to the control unit

→ Remove the ignition key and switch off load before disconnecting or removing load.

  1. Release plug connection for loudspeaker -a-  and pull it off -B-  .

    Information 

    • A perfect seal is only guaranteed if the sealing surfaces of the door sub-frame are undamaged. 
    • Do not damage or deform the sensor when drilling out blind rivets. 
  2. Carefully drill out the six blind rivets -1-  for the loudspeaker.

  3. Remove low-range loudspeaker.
  4. Remove remaining seal for the low-range loudspeaker on the door sub-frame.
