Removing Battery Cross Member

  1. Pull off the two quick connectors -1-  on the cooling lines and close off/mask the connections with stoppers or adhesive tape to prevent dirt from getting into the cooling lines.
  2. Disconnect potential equalization line for the electric high-voltage battery heater.
  3. Unscrew fastening screws -2-  . Check different screw lengths.
  4. Remove battery cross member.
