Installing Gas-Discharge Headlight

CAUTION:
Incorrect handling of bulbs
- Risk of damage to bulbs and the bulb housing
→ Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.
→ Switch off the relevant loads when changing bulbs.
→ Only use bulbs listed in the bulb table.
→ Only install clean bulbs that are free of grease.
→ Always use a cloth or soft paper when working with bulbs.
→ Observe the safety instructions when changing a bulb in a Bi-Xenon headlight.
→ In certain states, it is compulsory to carry spare light bulbs.
- Connect electric plug connection -1- on the gas-discharge headlight -2- until it engages securely.
- Position gas-discharge headlight in the headlight and lock it by turning it in direction of arrow.
Installing gas-discharge headlight
- Check condition of the seal -1- and check that it is fitted correctly on the rear cover -2- .
- Position rear cover on the headlight and lock it by turning it in direction of arrow.
- Check condition of O-ring -3- and check that it is seated correctly.
- Connect hose connection -4-
for the breather hose at the headlight until it engages securely.
