Removing Selector Knob

NOTE:

Do not apply lateral forces to the pull rod as it could break off.

Do not use force on the pull rod

  1. Turn locking mechanism at the bottom of the shift lever boot 45 degrees in -direction of arrow A-  and release selector knob by pulling it up in -direction of arrow B-  .

  2. Pull selector knob -2-  up slightly, position assembly wedge on selector knob cover -1-  and -3-  and unclip carefully.

  3. Pull off selector knob with selector knob cover.
