Information

If occupant classification components (installed for country equipment USA/Canada) must be replaced, the repair kit comprising padding with affixed mat for occupant classification system and occupant classification control unit must always be replaced as a complete unit .

The spare parts are contained in a repair kit (comprising padding with affixed mat for occupant classification system -1- and occupant classification control unit -2- ), which must always be replaced as a complete unit.

Contents of occupant classification system repair kit

-1- Padding with affixed mat for occupant classification system

-2- Occupant classification control unit

A mixed installation , e.g. "old" padding and "new" control unit, is not permitted .

The padding with affixed mat for occupant classification system and the occupant classification control unit are calibrated together by the manufacturer and must therefore only be replaced as a complete unit.

The occupant classification control unit must not be coded.

The mat for the occupant classification system must not be removed from the foam part.
