DRAINING
CAUTION:
The fluid filler plug is not a fluid level plug.

WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.CAUTION: Make sure the vehicle is on a flat level surface.
Raise and support the vehicle.
- Refer to: ENGINE UNDERSHIELD .

CAUTION: Make sure that the area around the component is clean and free of foreign material.NOTE: Discard the transfer case fluid filler plug washer.
Remove the transfer case filler plug.

NOTE: Discard the transfer case fluid drain plug washer.
Drain the transfer case fluid.
- CAUTION: Install a new washer.
Install the transfer case fluid drain plug.
Renew Part: Transfer case drain plug washer Quantity: 1.
Torque Specification: 35 Nm
FILLING

CAUTION: Care must be taken not to overfill the transfer case.
Fill the transfer case with 450 ml of fluid.
Refer to: SPECIFICATIONS .

CAUTION: Install a new washer.
Install the transfer case fluid filler plug.
Renew Part: Transfer case fill plug washer Quantity: 1 .
Torque Specification: 35 Nm
