The convertible top must be moved to various positions in order to gain the best possible access to the fitting areas shown below.

Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle. Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well. These must be carried out as a mirror image of the steps shown.

  1. Remove rear side trim panel. → 707519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR SIDE TRIM PANEL .
  2. Remove trim panel for roll-over bar. → 708119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING TRIM PANEL FOR ROLL-OVER BAR .
  3. Remove trim panel for Targa bar. → 663519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING TRIM PANEL FOR TARGA BAR .
  4. Remove side trim panel for rear luggage compartment. → 700319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING SIDE TRIM PANEL FOR REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT (TARGA) .
  5. Remove trim panel for rear wall. → 703119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING TRIM PANEL FOR REAR WALL .
  6. Remove trim panel for convertible top compartment. → 700819 REMOVING AND INSTALLING TRIM PANEL FOR CONVERTIBLE TOP COMPARTMENT .
  7. Remove rear seat cushion. → 745719 REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR SEAT CUSHION .
  8. Remove rear backrest. → 724719 REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR BACKREST .
