Removing Gearshift Bracket

Remove design cover from Y-shaped pipe.
Remove Y-shaped pipe from intake manifold.

Unscrew fastening screws -arrows- from gearshift bracket.

Detach connector -arrow- from transmission.

Position transmission jack under transmission support.
Unscrew fastening screws from transmission support.

Lower transmission on transmission support by max. 25 mm.

Lever off cable ends -1- on the transmission using disassembly tool Nr.21 .

Remove tab washers -2- for the operating cables from the support using a screwdriver.

Remove gearshift bracket together with operating cables.
Align gearshift bracket in neutral position using locking bridge 9619/2 .

Measure excess operating cable -X- at the cable end and write it down. The dimension -X- is needed for pre-positioning during installation.

Unscrew fastening screws -arrows- from the bottom of the gearshift bracket and remove cover.

Release adjuster from the gearshift bracket. To do this, release the catch using a screwdriver -arrow- .

Remove safety clips -arrows- from the gearshift bracket.

Remove operating cables from the gearshift bracket.
