Preparing Connection Areas Of The Body

Align the sealing surface and connections of the body.
De-burr connection points and prepare them for welding.
Information
- Before final assembly, make sure you fully understand all the work steps involved and carry out a trial assembly without applying adhesive.
- The bonding process can only be carried out reliably when a smooth and swift sequence of operations is guaranteed.
- Do not begin bonding work until all materials and tools necessary for later repair work are available.
Prepare the marked areas for welding. → 5X00IN21 WORKING WITH BODY STRUCTURAL ADHESIVE .
Fit in new front side member (section) and secure it.
1. 4.1. Take measurement -X- from the new part and mark it on the longitudinal member.
2. 4.2. Cut the longitudinal member -arrows- .
3. 4.3. Area -A- indicates the overlap area from the longitudinal member to the section of the longitudinal member.
