Removing Headlight Mounting

Information 

Only make cuts in the top plate. Make sure not to damage the plate underneath when doing this.

1. Roughly cut out headlight mounting -arrows-  .

   Information 

   Drill out the connection point on one side only. Do not damage the plate underneath.

2. Drill out spotwelds. Spotweld drill Nr.129 Pneumatic spotweld remover, Vario Drill WS 90 WE 1139

3. Heat the marked bonding surfaces.
   1. 3.1. Remove support for ESP holder.

4. Remove bracket for front side member.

   Information 

   Drill out the connection point on one side only. Do not damage the plate underneath.

   1. 4.1. Drill out spotwelds. Spotweld drill Nr.129 Pneumatic spotweld remover, Vario Drill WS 90 WE 1139 
   2. 4.2. Remove remaining pieces.

5. Remove headlight mounting.

   Information 

   Drill out the connection point on one side only. Do not damage the plate underneath.

   1. 5.1. Drill out spotwelds. Spotweld drill Nr.129 Pneumatic spotweld remover, Vario Drill WS 90 WE 1139 
   2. 5.2. Remove welded seams -arrows-  .
   3. 5.3. Remove remaining pieces.
