Preparing Spring Strut Mount For Installation

Cut reinforcement in area -arrows- leaving an overlap to the remaining piece of 30 mm.

Fit in and secure reinforcements.
1. 2.1. Tack-weld upper part -1- and lower part -2- of reinforcement -arrows- .

Remove reinforcements.
1. 3.1. Resistance spot-weld the marked area -A- .

Prepare wing bracket for welding.

Prepare reinforcement for bonding and welding.

Drill holes for plug-welding in the marked areas -A- on the spring strut mount using a drill bit with a diameter of → Diameter: 8.0 mm.

Drill holes for plug-welding in the marked areas -A- on the lower part of the plenum panel using a drill bit with a diameter of → Diameter: 8.0 mm .

Orange	Resistance spot-welding
Green	Resistance spot-welding + bonding
Red	Plug-welding/apply a full weld using inert gas without bonding
