Installing Lock Carrier
Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:
- Tighten fastening screws securing bracket to body to the specified torque. Tightening torque 55 Nm (41 ftlb.)
- Replace sealing rings on the refrigerant lines and tighten fastening screws for the refrigerant lines at the connection point to the condenser to the specified torque. Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.)
- Tighten fastening screws securing supports to lock carrier to the specified torque. Tightening torque 5 Nm (3.5 ftlb.)
- Tighten fastening screw on holder for garage door opener control unit to the specified torque. Tightening torque 6 Nm (4.5 ftlb.)
- Tighten top fastening screws securing wing strut to lock carrier to the specified torque. Tightening torque 9.7 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)
- Tighten top fastening screws securing transverse strut to body to the specified torque. Tightening torque 9.7 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)
- Tighten side fastening screws securing transverse strut to body to the specified torque. Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)
- Tighten side fastening screws on the front retaining strips to the specified torque. Tightening torque 9.7 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)
- Tighten fastening screws securing headlight mounting to body to the specified torque. Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.)
- Tighten screw-type clamp securing throttle-housing cover to pressure pipe to the specified torque. Tightening torque 5.5 Nm (4 ftlb.)
