Fuel Tank: Installation

All vehicles

- Install the fuel level sensor and bracket assembly.
- Install the fuel pump assembly.
- Connect the fuel line.
- Remove the fuel tank lower cover.
- Install and tighten the 5 bolts.
  Torque: 10 Nm
- Install the fuel tank assembly.
NOTE: This step requires the aid of another technician.
- Install the fuel tank assembly.
- Install and tighten the 7 bolts.
  Torque: 45 Nm
- Connect the fuel hose.
- Install the hose clamp.
Connect the 2 fuel lines.
Vehicles with fuel fired booster heater
Connect the fuel line.
All vehicles
NOTE: Repeat the step for the other side.
- Install the undershield.
- Install and tighten the 5 bolts and 7 nuts.
  Torque: 10 Nm
Install the rear driveshaft.

Connect the startup battery ground cable.
Refer to: SPECIFICATIONS .
- Bleed the fuel system.
  Refer to: LOW-PRESSURE FUEL SYSTEM BLEEDING .
