Removing Steering-Column Switch

  1. Release and disconnect electric plug connections -1-  .
  2. Loosen clamping screw -2-  .
  3. Remove steering-column switch -3- with control unit for steering wheel electronics from the steering column.

    When replacing the steering-column switch: 

  4. Remove steering wheel electronics control unit from the steering-column switch. → 916219 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CONTROL UNIT FOR STEERING WHEEL ELECTRONICS - SECTION ON "REMOVING"
