Removing Control Unit For Front-End Electronics

CAUTION:
Voltage peaks
- Risk of damage to load or to the control unit
→ Remove the ignition key and switch off load before disconnecting or removing load.
NOTE:
Always comply with the regulations for handling ESD-sensitive components!
- Always wear approved work clothes and shoes when carrying out assembly work .
- Do not remove new parts from ESD (electrostatic discharge) protective packaging until shortly before installation .
- Do not touch electric pins and plug contacts .
- Switch off ignition and pull remote control out of ignition lock.
- Loosen relay carrier -1- .
- Press release -a-
, swivel the front-end electronics control unit -1-
down at the front -b-
and remove it from the holder -2-
at the rear.
Loosening front-end electronics control unit
- Release electric plug connections -1-

) and disconnect them from the rear-end electronics control unit -2-
.
Disconnecting electric plug connections
- Release the swivel bar -1- (-a- ), swivel it down and disconnect electric plug connections from the rear-end electronics control unit -2- .
- Release electric plug connection -3- (-b-
) and disconnect it from the rear-end electronics control unit.
