Preliminary Work

  1. Remove ignition key.
  2. Disconnect the battery. → 270619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING BATTERY
  3. Remove engine cover.
  4. Loosen drive belt. → 137819 REMOVING AND INSTALLING DRIVE BELT
  5. Remove cowl panel cover. → 508719 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COWL PANEL COVER
  6. Remove filler neck from windscreen-washer reservoir. → 926019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING WINDSCREEN-WASHER RESERVOIR
  7. Remove front strut. → 408619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT STRUT
  8. Remove front wheels. → 440519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING WHEEL
  9. Remove front wheel housing liner. → 505619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER
  10. Remove cover for front underbody. → 519219 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COVER FOR FRONT UNDERBODY
  11. Drain coolant. → 193817 DRAINING AND FILLING COOLANT
  12. Remove cross panel. → 508119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CROSS PANEL (DISASSEMBLING PLENUM PANEL)
  13. Remove catalytic converter. → 267319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CATALYTIC CONVERTER
