Installing Pulley

Coat sealing lip on the shaft sealing ring with engine oil.
Install pulley.
1. 2.1. Position pulley.
  Check tooth contour -arrow - .
2. 2.2. Fit new fastening screw.
  The fastening screw is supplied with a new O-ring -1- .
  
  Coat O-ring with engine oil before fitting it.
  
  Installing pulley
Counter the pulley with counter-hold tool T10355 and tighten fastening screw.
Step 1: Initial tightening 150 Nm (111 ftlb.)

Step 2: Final tightening +90°
Install control unit for fan.
1. 4.1. Position control unit -1- and fit and tighten fastening screw -arrow- .
  Tightening torque 2.5 Nm (1.75 ftlb.)
2. 4.2. Connect electric plug connections -2 and 3- .

Connect electric plug connection -1- and engage it in the holder.
