Removing trim panel under dashboard at the left

  • Some steps must be carried out automatically  .
  • Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle  .
  1. Move front seat to the rearmost position.
  2. Unscrew fastening screws -1-  at the bottom of the dashboard.
  3. Unscrew fastening screw -2-  at the left of the dashboard.
  4. Unscrew fastening screw -3-  at the front of the dashboard.
  5. Unclip trim panel -4-  on dashboard and pull it down slightly.

  6. Disconnect electric plug connections at the rotary light switch -1-  , ignition starter switch light -2-  , ignition starter switch -3-  and temperature sensor -4-  .
  7. Release and disconnect electric plug connection at the footwell light.
  8. Remove diagnostic socket -5-  on the trim panel -6-  .
  9. Guide out tab for footrest -7-  at the trim panel -6-  and remove trim panel -6-  .
