Intake-air distributor

- Intake-air distributor
- Screw → Tightening torque: 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.)
- Intake manifold flap valve
- Vacuum unit for intake manifold flaps
- Screws/replace → Tightening torque: 20 Nm (15 ftlb.)
- Electric plug connection
- Pressure regulator for fuel pressure
- High-pressure pump
- With pressure regulator for fuel pressure
- Make sure that no dirt gets into the fuel system during installation
- Protect the high-pressure pump from impact of any kind
- The fuel system must be depressurised for installation
- Do not strain fuel lines during installation
- Roller tappet
- Can remain in the vacuum pump following removal of the high-pressure pump, removable
- Fuel supply lines for fuel injectors for direct fuel injection (DFI)
- Do not install fuel supply line too tightly/ensure absolute cleanliness
- Fuel supply lines for fuel injectors for intake manifold injection
- Do not install fuel supply line too tightly/ensure absolute cleanliness
- Union nut → Tightening torque: 20 Nm (15 ftlb.)
- Adapter/replace → Tightening torque: 40 Nm (30 ftlb.)
- Fuel injectors/replace O-ring and Teflon ring; check installation position
- Fuel distributor
- Fuel pressure sensor/coat thread with clean engine oil → Tightening torque: 27 Nm (20 ftlb.)
- Sealing ring/replace
- Throttle housing
- This must be adapted to suit the engine control unit again following removal and installation or replacement
- Screws → Tightening torque: 7 Nm (5 ftlb.)
- Intake manifold support
- Screw → Tightening torque: 20 Nm (15 ftlb.)
- Nut → Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)
- Rubber mounting → Tightening torque: 5 Nm (3.5 ftlb.)
- Screw → Tightening torque: 6 Nm (4.5 ftlb.)
