Removing Intake Manifold

NOTE:
  • The pictures shown in this document may differ from the original. 
  1. Loosen fastening screws -2-  and remove air cleaner housing cover -1-  .

    NOTE:
    • Loosen and secure fastening bolts only in the specified direction 
    • Turn fastening bolts by max. 90°, otherwise the guide lugs will break off. 
      • Replace damaged fastening bolts.

  2. Loosen fastening bolts.
    1. 2.1. Press fastening bolts -1-  down slightly and turn by 90° in -direction of arrow-  .
    2. 2.2. Remove loosened fastening bolts -2-  .

  3. Pull vacuum hose off the intake manifold.
  4. Loosen screw-type clamp and remove intake manifold from the turbocharger.
  5. Remove intake manifold -1-  in -direction of arrow-  .
