Installing Front Apron

Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle.
Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well.

Information

When positioning the front apron, make sure that the air guide is inserted fully into the groove on the retaining frame.

Check that it is fitted correctly by feeling through the air grille.

Fit the front apron with the help of another person.
1. 1.1. Plug in connectors for wire harness at the left and right until they engage securely.

2. 1.2. Plug in connector on the side direction indicator light until the connector engages securely (USA/version).

3. 1.3. Attach line -1- for headlight washer system until it engages securely.

Push on fixing device.
1. 2.1. Fit safety clips -arrow- at the left and right fully on the guide pins.

Screw in front screws at the top -2- and tighten to the specified torque Tightening torque 5 Nm +/-0.5 Nm (+/-0.5 ftlb.) until secure.

Screw in screw -1- on the wing and tighten to the specified torque Tightening torque 2.8 Nm (2 ftlb.) +/-0.5 Nm (+/-0.5 ftlb.) until secure.

Screw in front screws at the bottom -1- and tighten using a torque screwdriver Nr.89 Pos.5 .
