Removing padding for front seat
- On vehicles with heated seats:
Disconnect connector for seat heating.
- 1.1. Release electric plug connection for seat heating -1- (- a- ) and disconnect it - A- .
- 1.2. Release electric plug connection for seat heating for seat-surface extension -2- (- b- ) and disconnect it - B- .
- Release and disconnect electric plug connection for occupant detection (Bodysense).
- Remove fixing clip -1-

- Disengage cover at the sides -2- (- A- ).
- Unscrew fastening screws -3-
and pull the bracket -4-
down out of the catches - B-

- Disengage the cover at the sides - C-
.
- Disengage the cover at the front - D-
.
- On vehicles with seat-surface extension: Disengage cover on the seat-surface extension - E- .
- Press in expansion rivet pin -5-
and pull out the expansion rivet.
- Disengage the cover at the rear - F- .
- Disengage the cover at the sides - G- .
- Disengage the cover at the rear - H-

- Pull the cover forward between the padding for the seat and backrest - I-
.
- On vehicles with seat-surface extension:
Disengage seat extension straps at both sides.
- 14.1. Lift up padding for rear seat.
- 14.2. Push back the bar -1- on the cover - A- .
- 14.3. Disengage strap for seat-surface extension -2- and guide it through in a downward direction - B- .
- 14.4. Loosen 4 red clips in the rear area on the securing wire.
- Remove seat cover together with the padding from the seat frame.

IMPORTANT: The mat for the occupant classification system must not be damaged or removed from the padding.
