Removing front side-section trim panel

Information 

• The number of fastening screws, fixing clips, plug connections, holders and trim panels can vary depending on equipment.
• The illustrations for removing and installing the drive mechanism are shown only on one equipment variant and may differ from the actual equipment variant.
• Some steps must be carried out automatically.
• Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle.

1. Reach into the lower area and unclip locking lug -5-  on door sill trim -4-  .
2. Unclip trim panel -3-  at the body and guide it out at the rubber door seal -2-  .
3. Pull trim panel -3-  down off the tab on the A-pillar trim panel -1-  and remove it.
