Removing rear anti-roll bar

→ Secure components to prevent them from falling down.

• The anti-roll bar can only be removed together with connecting links  .

1. Remove control unit for Tyre Pressure Monitoring (TPM) -1-  from the holder -2-  on the left anti-roll bar clamp and hang it at a suitable position.

2. Unscrew fastening screw -1 -  for the level sensor -2-  on both sides of the vehicle at the lower trailing arm -3-.

3. Unscrew fastening screws -1-  from the heat shield on the drive shaft -2-  and remove heat shield.

4. Unscrew fastening screw -4-  for the connecting link -2-  on both sides of the vehicle.
5. Loosen fastening nut -3-  from the inside, but do not unscrew it.

   Counter at the fastening screw -1 -  .

   Make sure not to damage the drive shaft while doing so.

6. Remove anti-roll bar clamps.

   1. 6.1. Unscrew fastening screws -3-  for the anti-roll bar clamps -4-  on both sides of the vehicle.
   2. 6.2. Remove holder -2-  on the left anti-roll bar clamp -4-. 

   Information 

   Do not damage the paintwork on the anti-roll bar during removal and installation.

7. Guide the anti-roll bar out.
   1. 7.1. Wrap a cloth around the lower trailing arm -3-  on both sides of the vehicle to prevent damage to the paintwork on the anti-roll bar.

   2. 7.2. Move the anti-roll bar -1-  to the right and guide it out carefully together with the connecting links -2-.

8. Unscrew fastening screws -1-  for the connecting links -2-  on the removed anti-roll bar -3-  and take off the anti-roll bar.
