Remove circlip. |
Do not confuse circlip no. 1 with circlip no. 9 on the inner joint. The two parts are not identical. Carefully slide the circlip onto the joint pin from above. Check that the circlip is fitted correctly. The circlip is pre-fitted when a new joint is installed! |

Drive shaft |

Remove the joint from the profile shaft using an aluminum mandrel and by hitting the ball hub (star-shaped inner ring) hard several times with a hammer. |
Always use a new joint during installation! Position the joint on the profile shaft. Press circlip no. 9 together as required so that the joint slides over it easily when you tap it with a rubber hammer. Grease the new joint! |
