Working With Adhesives: Hardening

The body structural adhesives used harden at temperatures of between → Minimum temperature: 18°C  and → Maximum temperature: 80°C. 

Information 

Infrared heaters only heat small sections of the body and are therefore only suitable for minor repairs.

• Only use devices with temperature control, automatic distance measurement and measuring point display, e.g. infrared heater WE xxxx or infrared heater WE xxxx. 

Hardening can be accelerated by heat (e.g. using an infrared heater or in a painting booth).

Do not put pressure on bonded parts until the required assembly strength is reached.
