Removing rear lid hinge

Information 

• Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle or a similar component  .
• Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well  .

Information 

Use a marking pen to mark the position of accessories with respect to each other before removal in order to reduce the amount of adjustment work required for gaps and joints.

1. Detach rear roof trim panel and pull it down carefully.
2. Two people are needed to replace the rear lid hinge.
   1. 2.1. One person to support the rear lid.
   2. 2.2. Another person to replace the lid hinge.
3. Unscrew and remove fastening screws -1-  on the rear lid hinge.

4. Unscrew and remove fastening nut -1-  on the lid hinge.

5. Remove lid hinge by pulling it up.
