Securing lid (service position)

Information 

• Make sure that the bonnet stay is engaged correctly  .
• Check that the bonnet stay is seated correctly  .

1. When carrying out service work on the vehicle, the special tool bonnet stay 9873  can be used in addition to the standard pneumatic spring.
2. Position bonnet stay.
   1. 2.1. Position bonnet stay -1-  and clip it into the ball joint at the top and bottom.

3. Once service work is complete, install pneumatic spring → 553119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT PNEUMATIC SPRING - "INSTALLING" .
