Installing EPB actuator

Information 

Check that the brake hose -1-  and electric lines -2-  are routed correctly (brake hose must be routed between the wheel bearing housing and electric lines).

Information 

• Sealing ring must always be replaced  .
• Clean ring groove and contact surfaces if they are dirty! Only use brake cleaner  .
• Make sure that the ring groove on the sealing ring and the contact surface of the actuator are not damaged  .

1. Installation is performed in reverse order. Turn adjusting screw on the brake calliper back slightly if necessary (to facilitate installation) → Turning back adjusting screw  .

   Observe specified tightening torques:

   EPB actuator to brake calliper: Tightening torque 11 Nm (8 ft. lb.)
