Removing lock for rear backrest at the center
- Loosen clip fastenings -1-
in the lower area of the front trim cover -2-
using a plastic wedge -3-
and remove front trim cover by lifting it up.
- Pull cover for backrest lock -1-
off the load-through provision -2-

- Loosen cover piping in the top and side area (-marking-)
.
- Remove upper trim panel on load-through provision.
- 4.1. Unscrew two fastening screws -1-
.
- 4.2. Fold down cover.
- 4.3. Loosen two fastening screws -2-
and fold upper trim panel upwards.
- 4.4. Disengage operating cable for lock for rear backrest at the center.
- 4.4.1. Disengage operating cable at the seat belt mount.
- 4.4.2. Disengage operating cable at the fixing clips -1 and 2-
.
- Loosen fastening screws -1-
for backrest lock -2-
and remove backrest lock.
