Removing upper part of B-pillar trim panel

Information 

• The number of fastening screws, fixing clips, plug connections, holders and trim panels can vary depending on equipment.
• The illustrations for removing and installing the drive mechanism are shown only on one equipment variant and may differ from the actual equipment variant.
• Some steps must be carried out automatically.
• Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle.

1. Set height adjustment -1-  to the lowest position.
2. Remove seat belt mount at the front seat. → 691119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT THREE-POINT BELT
3. Disengage trim panel -2-  from the fixing clips in the lower area.
4. Guide belt strap and belt latch out through the trim panel -2-  .
5. Guide out tabs -3-  in direction of arrow and remove trim panel -2-  .
