Removing glove compartment lock

Information 

• The number of fastening screws, fixing clips, plug connections, holders and trim panels can vary depending on equipment  .
• The illustrations for removing and installing the drive mechanism are shown only on one equipment variant and may differ from the actual equipment variant  .
• Some steps must be carried out automatically  .
• Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle  .

1. Move passenger seat to the rearmost position.
2. Remove key bit -1-  from the ignition key and insert it into the lock cylinder -2-  .
3. Press and hold the release handle -3-  .
4. Pull out safety clip -4-  .
5. Remove lock cylinder -2-  by pulling it forward.
   1. 5.1. Push the lock cylinder -2-  forward from the back using a screwdriver and remove it.
