Removing rear-view mirror housing (upper part)

Information 

• The number of fastening screws, fixing clips, plug connections, holders and trim panels can vary depending on equipment.
• The illustrations for removing and installing the drive mechanism are shown only on one equipment variant and may differ from the actual equipment variant.
• Some steps must be carried out automatically.
• Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle.

1. Remove screws -1-  .
2. Move upper part of housing -2-  in the lower, front area forward and up at the same time and unclip at the lower part of the housing.
3. Unclip lower part of housing from brackets -3-  on the direction indicator light.
4. Guide upper part of housing -2-  out of the brackets -4-  and lift it up until the electric plug connections are accessible.

5. Disconnect electric plug connections -1-  .
6. Remove upper part of housing -2-  .
