Removing roof molding

Information 

• The number of fastening screws, fixing clips, plug connections, holders and trim panels can vary depending on equipment.
• The illustrations for removing and installing the drive mechanism are shown only on one equipment variant and may differ from the actual equipment variant.
• Some steps must be carried out automatically.
• Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle.

Information 

The molding cannot be removed without damaging it irreparably and must always be replaced.

1. Open the rear door window fully.
2. Loosen roof molding -1-  - starting in the rear area -arrow A-  -from the window guide -2-  using a plastic wedge and pull off roof molding -1-  .
