Removing rear section of lid-lock cable

  1. Unclip operating cable -2-  from the bracket -3-  and disconnect it.
  2. Remove front trim panel. → 700219 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT TRIM PANEL
  3. Unclip operating cable -2-  from the fixing clips -1-  .

  4. Remove front inner door sill trim. → 680519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT INNER DOOR SILL TRIM
  5. Unclip operating cable -1-  from release unit -2-  and disengage it.
  6. Loosen insulating mat -3-  and secure it outside the work area.
  7. Guide rubber sleeve -4-  out of the body.
  8. Lubricate operating cable -1-  and pull it out towards the passenger compartment.
