Removing rear door control unit

→ Remove the ignition key and switch off load before disconnecting or removing load.

Always comply with the regulations for handling ESD-sensitive components!

• Always wear approved work clothes and shoes when carrying out assembly work  .
• Do not remove new parts from ESD (electrostatic discharge) protective packaging until shortly before installation  .
• Do not touch electric pins and plug contacts  .

1. Switch off ignition and pull remote control out of ignition lock.
2. Release electric connector -1-  (-a-  ) and disconnect it from the rear door control unit -2-  (-b-  ).
3. Release electric plug connection -1-  (-a-  ) and disconnect it from the rear door control unit -2-  .
4. Pull locking mechanism -b-  , press release button -c-  and pull off electric plug connection -3-  .
5. Release locking lug -a-  and disconnect top of rear door control unit -1-  from the rear door -b-  .
6. Pull retaining lugs -2-  on rear door control unit up out of the door.
