Adjusting lock peg

Information 

• The striker pin can be adjusted by changing the plasticity of the adjusting element in the B-pillar  .
• The setting is retained when the striker pin is removed  .

1. Loosen fastening screws -2-  .
2. Move lock peg outwards.
   1. 2.1. Move the lock peg -1-  outwards (if necessary) using slide hammer kit Nr.168  .
3. Adjust the lock peg back/down/up (if necessary).
   1. 3.1. Move catch bar -1-  to the required position using a plastic hammer.
   2. 3.2. Carefully close the door and check adjustment.
4. Tighten fastening screws -2-  to Tightening torque 25 Nm (19 ft lb.)  until secure.
