Preliminary work for loosening and securing main wire harness in engine compartment at the left

  1. Disconnect ground line on the battery. → 2X00IN WORK INSTRUCTIONS AFTER DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY
  2. Remove control unit for front-end electronics. → 944919 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CONTROL UNIT FOR FRONT END ELECTRONICS
  3. Loosen fuse box in the cowl panel. → 978409 LOOSENING AND SECURING FUSE BOX 
  4. Remove left headlight. → 941519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING HEADLIGHTS
  5. Remove front left wheel. → 440519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING WHEEL
  6. Remove front wheel housing liner at the left. → 505619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER
  7. Remove windscreen-washer reservoir. → 926019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING WINDSCREEN-WASHER RESERVOIR
  8. Remove windscreen washer system hose from the front lid. → 925419 REMOVING AND INSTALLING HOSE FOR HEADLIGHT CLEANING SYSTEM

  9. Remove left air cleaner housing. → 242519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING AIR CLEANER HOUSING
