  1. If a new control unit has to be installed, the values/coding must be read out using PIWIS Tester II 9818  before removing the "old" control unit. → 373055 REPLACING TRANSMISSION CONTROL UNIT (PDK) 
  2. Loosen the rear luggage compartment trim on the left side and fold it aside. → 700619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM - section on "Removing"
