Installing Reversing Camera

Install trim.
1. 1.1. Open trim slightly against the spring tensioning force -Pfeil E- .
2. 1.2. Insert trim on housing -Pfeile G- from above and slide it into position by pressing downwards -Pfeile F- . As shown in the cross section, the cover must be hooked securely onto the camera and must not rattle.
3. 1.3. Screw in fastening screws -4- and tighten to the specified tightening torque. → Tightening torque: 0.5 Nm (0.5 ftlb.)
4. 1.4. Screw in fastening screw -3- and tighten to the specified tightening torque. → Tightening torque: 0.5 Nm (0.5 ftlb.)

Screw in fastening screws -2- and tighten so that the camera -1- can still be moved.

Adjust seam joining line.
1. 3.1. Adjust seam joining line at the side -I-. → Gap dimension: 3 mm
2. 3.2. Adjust seam joining line to moulding -H-. → Gap dimension: 2 mm+/-0.8 mm

Tighten fastening screws -2- to the specified tightening torque. → Tightening torque: 1.2 Nm (1.0 ftlb.)
Route and secure wire harness.
1. 5.1. Position wire harness on Velcro fastening and press it on -Pfeil- .
2. 5.2. Secure wire harness on retaining clip using a tie-wrap.
