Coding Car Radio

- You can get the codes for the car radio from the PIWIS Infosystem or from your importer by specifying the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).
- During coding, it is essential to guarantee the power supply for the Porsche System Tester. If in doubt, connect a charger to the vehicle battery.
- Instructions for the Porsche System Tester have a higher priority than the points listed here and are to be followed where descriptions deviate. Deviations may occur with later software versions.
- The procedure described here has been structured in general terms; different text or additions may appear in the Porsche System Tester.
- Connect and start the Porsche System Tester and switch on the ignition.
- Select "Cayenne" in the Vehicle type menu and confirm with the [→] key.
- Select PCM2/CDR23 in the control units selection and confirm with the [>>] key.
- Select CDR23 in the PCM2/CDR23 function selection and confirm with the [>>] key.
- Select Coding in the CDR23 function selection and confirm with the [>>] key.
- Select CDR23 code in the CDR23 coding and confirm with the [>>] key.
- Take the CDR23 code from the PIWIS Infosystem and enter it in the form. Start coding by pressing [F8].
