Removing Air Deflector

Open sliding roof.
1. 1.1. Open sliding roof fully.

Remove air deflector.
1. 2.1. Unclip air deflector -1- up to the middle of the vehicle using the hook 3370 for the front end -arrow A- and lift it up and out of the sliding roof frame -2- (-arrow B-).

Remove spring.
1. 3.1. Lift rear spring -3- (-arrow C-) and remove it from the air deflector -1- (-arrow D-).

Open roof panel 2.
Unclip cover -1- by pulling upwards -arrow- .

Unhook locking lever.
1. 3.1. Release locking lever -1- (-arrow A-) and guide it forward -arrows B- .
2. 3.2. Guide locking lever -1- further forward over the contour -arrow C- until the air deflector is folded in fully.

Release and remove bearing pin.
1. 4.1. Insert a hexagon wrench into the bearing pin -1- (-arrow A-) and release the bearing pin -1- by turning it -arrow B- .
2. 4.2. Lift up bearing pin -1- and remove it -arrow C- .

Remove locking lever.
1. 5.1. Guide locking lever -1- out of the mount -arrows A- and lift it up to remove it -arrow B- .

Loosen actuating cable.
1. 6.1. Unscrew lock nuts -1- on the actuating cable -2- .
2. 6.2. Disengage actuating cable -2- (-arrow-).
3. 6.3. Unscrew adjusting nut -3- on the actuating cable -2- .

Pull actuating cable -1- out of the holder -2- (-arrow-) .

Unscrew fastening screws -2- and remove air deflector -1- .
