Removing Front Door Hinge

Information
- To remove and adjust the upper door hinges, the instrument panel and the carrier for the instrument panel must be removed.
- Remove insulation mat on the inside of the A post.
- 1.1. Unclip fastening clips -11- (-arrow A- ) and push insulating mat -10- aside (-arrow B- ).
- Remove upper door hinge on the body.
Information
The rear fastening screw is fitted from inside the vehicle.

- 2.2. Unscrew the fastening screws -1, 2- for the upper door hinge -3- using the special tool and remove. Multiple-tooth socket-wrench insert, M8 Nr.29
- 2.3. Remove upper door hinge -3- .
- Remove lower door hinge on the body.

- 4.1. Unscrew the fastening screw -9- for the lower door hinge -6- using the special tool and remove. Multiple-tooth socket-wrench insert, M8 Nr.29
- 4.2. Remove lower door hinge -6- .
- Removing upper door hinge at the door
- 5.1. Unscrew the fastening screw -7- for the upper door hinge -3- using the special tool and remove. Multiple-tooth socket-wrench insert, M8 Nr.29
- 5.2. Remove upper door hinge -3- .
