Removing Fuel Line - Fuel Pump To Wheel Housing Connection

Release connector -arrows A- and pull it off the fuel pump -arrow B- .

Pull fuel pump together with the rubber sleeve off the holder -arrow- .

Remove trim panel.
1. 3.1. Unscrew fastening screw -arrow 1- .
2. 3.2. Unscrew fastening nuts -arrows 2- and remove trim panel.

Release line bracket -arrow A- , open it -arrow B- and unclip fuel line -arrow C- .

Before disconnecting the fuel line, it is essential to observe the safety instructions in → WM 1001AW The most important working regulations and warning notes
Loosen and remove fuel line.
1. 5.1. Release hose clamps -1- at the fuel pump and at the connecting point in the wheel housing.
2. 5.2. Pull out fuel line at both ends of the connections -arrows- .

Remove fuel line.
1. 6.1. Press out fuel line together with the rubber sleeve -arrow A- by pressing inwards -arrow B- .
2. 6.2. Remove the fuel line first to the rear -arrow C- and then downward -arrows D- . Twist the fuel line slightly when removing it if necessary.
